Not eat' warnings as recalls issued at Asda, Tesco, Waitrose and more
A series of food safety alerts has triggered multiple product recalls across major UK supermarkets, including Tesco and Asda, prompting Food Standards Agency “do not eat” warnings. The recalls involve items removed due to potential risks. Among the affected products are several chocolate ranges sold in England, Scotland and Wales that may contain milk and soy not listed on the labels. Bon Bons Wholesale Ltd recalled the products and told shops to remove them from sale, while the FSA advised consumers not to eat them and, if they bought them and have milk and/or soya allergies, to return them for a full refund. Separately, Tesco and Asda customers were warned about Graham’s Family Dairy Semi-Skimmed Milk, with officials saying it could contain veterinary medicines, including penicillin.
