Perkins Coie and Ashurst have completed their combination, creating Ashurst Perkins Coie, a global law firm positioned around technology, energy and infrastructure, and financial services. The firms say the merger forms a network of 52 offices across 20 countries and regions, with more than 950 partners and 3,500 client-facing practitioners, anchored in Seattle, London, Sydney, and New York. The announcement, dated June 28, 2026, follows both companies’ shared emphasis on early integration of AI and innovation. Leadership roles will include Bill Malley and Paul Jenkins as Global Co-CEOs, with Karen Davies and Brian Eiting as Global Co-Chairs. Executives framed the move as tailored for sectors shaping the future economy, including cross-border transactions, complex litigation, and regulatory interpretation. The firm’s structure also includes eight divisions aligned to market opportunity and client needs, extending its differentiated practices under the combined brand.
