Robbie Williams released a new version of the Official FIFA Anthem “Desire,” bringing Nicole Scherzinger and Laura Pausini together ahead of the 2026 World Cup final. Williams, confirmed last summer as FIFA’s official Music Ambassador, first dropped the single with Pausini after the appointment, and the duo performed it live in July ahead of a Chelsea vs. Paris Saint-Germain match at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Later in 2026, Williams performed the track again at the Final Draw for the World Cup with Scherzinger as a duet. The updated recording replaces the original two-artist arrangement by adding Scherzinger, with the trio set to sing live for the first time at the closing ceremony on Sunday, July 19. The ceremony is scheduled at the New York New Jersey Stadium on BBC One just before Spain kicks off against Argentina.
