xCruzo Brief
Cboe and Robinhood Markets said they will launch new SEC-regulated earnings contracts in October, with Robinhood set to be the first retail broker to offer them. Announced at Robinhood’s HOOD Summit, the products are KPI binary options that let traders bet on specific company metrics and corporate events using Cboe’s registered U.S. securities exchange. The initial rollout covers 23 of the most actively traded U.S. stocks. Through the end of 2026, both firms will waive fees on the contracts. Cboe also filed with the SEC to register its clearinghouse, Cboe Clear U.S., as a Covered Clearing Agency, a prerequisite if approved.
