SerpApi Expands Beyond Search Results with New Extract API

SerpApi launched Extract API, a new capability aimed at helping developers retrieve real-time data from publicly available web pages in structured formats. Announced Oct. 13, 2026 from Austin, Texas, the product is designed to expand SerpApi beyond retrieving search results by moving users from finding relevant URLs to extracting the structured content behind those pages. The company says Extract API supports searching, discovering additional pages across a website, and extracting structured data within a single workflow, leveraging the existing SerpApi platform and developer ecosystem. CEO Julien Khaleghy said it reduces the need for custom scrapers and maintenance. Extract API is available across all SerpApi accounts and uses a generalized parser, meaning website support may vary.
