Soybeans Slipping Slightly on Thursday

Soybeans edged slightly lower on Thursday, with most futures fractions to a penny down. The cmdtyView national average cash bean price fell half a cent to $11.28 1/2. Soymeal futures were up 50 to 70 cents, while soy oil traded up 10 points or down as much as 37 points. Only one delivery was issued overnight against August beans, compared with 15 for August soy meal and 41 for bean oil. A private export sale of 122,000 MT of soybeans to China was reported for 2026/27. USDA’s weekly Export Sales showed 32,157 MT sold for old crop in the week of 7/30, below expectations of 100,000-400,000 MT and at a marketing-year low as 2025/26 enters its last month. New crop sales were 903,920 MT, also below the 0.9-1.55 MMT range.
