Stocks climbed on Wall Street Thursday, erasing most of Wednesday's losses as the rally was led by big technology names. The S&P 500 advanced 80.48 points, or 1.1%, to 7,500.58, while the Nasdaq Composite jumped 496.28 points, or 1.9%, to 26,517.93. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 72.15 points, or 0.1%, finishing at 51,564.70 and marking weekly gains for all three major indexes. Intel surged 10.6% after President Donald Trump announced that the chipmaker will manufacture chips for Apple in the United States, and Nvidia rose about 3% while Micron Technology climbed 8.7%.
