Tis the season to be shopping Sylacauga Christmas open house set for Sunday

The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce is urging residents to start holiday shopping early with its annual Christmas Open House on Sunday, Nov. 1, from 1 to 5 p.m. Participating businesses will offer special shopping opportunities, holiday-themed activities, and a chance to win $250 in Chamber Bucks. Shoppers earn one entry for every $25 spent at qualifying locations, with receipts presented at the chamber’s tent beside McClendon Bridals, where entries are distributed. The event also includes a Christmas balloon artist sponsored by B.B. Comer Memorial Library and appearances by Christmas characters, supported by multiple local sponsors. The chamber says the open house highlights Sylacauga’s variety of shops and services.
