Titans' Cam Ward shares honest self-assessment on performance vs. Seahawks

Titans quarterback Cam Ward said he’s aware his preseason performance vs. the Seattle Seahawks wasn’t good enough and that he still has “a lot of little things” to improve. Tennessee rallied from a 13-point deficit to beat the defending Super Bowl champions 19-16 at Nissan Stadium, but Ward and the starting offense produced limited results across three series. He went 8 of 12 for 69 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. Tennessee trailed 16-3 after starters were pulled in the second quarter, yet four field goals from Joey Slye—including a 55-yarder—kept them in range. D’Ernest Johnson then scored on a 2-yard TD with 5:45 left. Ward is building chemistry with rookie receiver Carnell Tate, drafted No. 4 overall in 2026.
