Tom Lee's GRNY Fund Makes MSTR Its Top Holding Before 46%

MSTR jumped 46% in one month, and a Fundstrat ETF rebalance appears to have moved in the same direction shortly before the rally. Fundstrat Granny Shots U.S. Large Cap ETF (GRNY), managed by BitMine chairman Tom Lee, increased its stake in Strategy (MSTR) during the August 2026 quarterly rebalance, according to Bloomberg’s ETF analyst Eric Balchunas. MSTR rose from about 0.45%–0.50% of the fund to 3.02% over the prior two weeks, making it GRNY’s largest holding and surpassing Robinhood (HOOD), which stands at 2.99%. The fund’s portfolio grew to $5.1 billion AUM, with GRNY accounting for $4.489 billion. The approach is rules-based, reviewed quarterly.
