UK's Barratt Redrow hits upper end of annual home completions guidance

Barratt Redrow reported Wednesday that it delivered fiscal 2026 home completions at the upper end of its guidance and will return £400 million to shareholders in fiscal 2027. The UK homebuilder said total completions for the year ended June 28 were expected at 17,667 units, placing results at the top of its previously forecast range and slightly ahead of market expectations. For fiscal 2027, the company expects 17,700 to 18,200 units. It also projects cost inflation of 3% to 4% in fiscal 2027, citing higher energy prices linked to the Iran war and a broader slowdown in industry activity.
