Watch: Imran Khan's GF shares video of Mumbai Police not letting them go home

Actor Imran Khan was detained by Mumbai Police at August Kranti Maidan on Saturday, where a protest was reportedly organized in support of the CJI movement in Delhi. Videos shared by his girlfriend, Lekha Washington, show them in a police vehicle and say officers would not let them go home or take a cab. In later posts, she said they were safe and heading home. Imran’s cousin Zayn Marie also posted footage from a police van and joked about Imran’s situation, comparing it to Imran’s debut film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, where his character is also arrested. Imran told reporters he had no demands, no status to request anything, and was not speaking as a representative.
