We're adding a new, high-profile AI play to our Bullpen stocks to watch list
SpaceX is being added to the CNBC Investing Club “Bullpen” stocks to watch list as the company’s fastest-growing business, Super Intelligence (SI), expands aggressively. After its June IPO priced at $135 and first traded around $150, the stock swung from a near $226 intraday peak to about $105 in early August, then rebounded to the $140s. SpaceX operates across three segments: Space, Connectivity (Starlink), and SI. In SI, it’s building AI infrastructure in Memphis, including Colossus and Colossus II, and may monetize by training models internally or leasing compute. Anthropic’s S-1 says it agreed to spend up to $120.5 billion on SpaceX compute. Third-quarter SI revenue rose to $7.56 billion from $2.56 billion earlier this year. Starlink posted $2.37 billion operating profit in the quarter.
