Why are Swiggy shares gaining today? Here's what the company announced

Swiggy’s shares rose nearly 3% on Thursday after the company unveiled its five-year growth strategy at Capital Markets Day 2026, targeting strong profitability by FY31. The stock climbed as much as 5% to an intraday high of Rs 305 before easing; at around 11:53 am it traded at Rs 297.90, up 2.76%. Despite the jump, it remains below the IPO price of Rs 390. Swiggy aims to generate about Rs 10,000 crore in consolidated adjusted EBITDA by FY31 and more than triple consolidated Gross Order Value (GOV) to nearly Rs 2.5 lakh crore from Rs 67,734 crore in FY26. It expects GOV to grow at a CAGR above 30% over the next five years, supported by growth across food delivery, quick commerce and out-of-home consumption.
