Why Ripple (XRP)? 21Shares Highlights 4 Reasons Investors Should Take Notice
21Shares, a Swiss asset manager, laid out a bullish investment case for XRP based on regulatory clarity, institutional access, expanding XRPL utility, and a fixed token supply. It pointed to improvements in the regulatory environment after a key August 2025 development reduced what it called a major compliance obstacle for institutions, with further clearer treatment in 2026. On access, 21Shares cited spot XRP ETFs launched on Wall Street in November that pulled in over $1 billion in about a month and a half, with cumulative inflows topping $1.7 billion. Utility claims include nearly $500 billion in XRPL on-chain value processed over the past 12 months, XRPL RLUSD stablecoin growth from $72 million to $1.6 billion in under two years, and tokenized assets reaching $4 billion. A major risk remains that more network usage doesn’t automatically translate into more XRP demand, particularly if institutions use the token only temporarily. As of press time, XRP faces $1.40 resistance.
