World Cup grand finale came alive at Alphamega

Alphamega Hypermarkets turned the World Cup grand finale into a community event at its Engomi location on July 19, 2026. The retailer hosted an open-air fan zone where families and friends gathered from 7:30pm to watch the final on a giant screen, with bleachers and high tables creating a stadium-like atmosphere. The evening included street food, drinks, music, competitions, and other surprises. A live link hosted by Efrem Georgiou and Pantelis Panteli on Sport FM 95 drew attention, while a Pre-Game Show presented by Andreas Violaris, Maria Vasileiadou, and Louis Patsalides featured Apostolos Mantzios, coach of the Cyprus Men’s National Team, and football ambassador Michalis Konstantinou. In the Alphamega App, Maria Iona won a €24,000 KIA Stonic GT Line after correctly predicting the finalists. A second identical prize was scheduled for the Spin & Win winner in the coming days.
