XRP News: Anonymous DeFi Is Dying, Analyst Says XRP Ledger Is the Future
An analyst, Jake Claver, argues that DeFi is at a crossroads and that institutional capital will arrive only if liquidity pools have accountable oversight. Claver says DeFi doesn’t need to be eliminated through regulation, but it can’t scale without a responsible party behind the code, rejecting the idea that a DAO, a GitHub repository, or an anonymous founder can carry liability. He frames pools as real financial products with smart-contract, liquidity, and counterparty risks. He also proposes a “Know Your Agent” layer to verify who authorized AI trading or treasury agents and their permissions, alongside KYC/KYB. Claver points to the XRP Ledger’s operational stability, fast finality, and protocol amendments, calling XRP a neutral bridge asset for regulated on-chain markets.
