Aaron Donald says rewatching film helped him feel better about his return to the field after the Rams’ 28-6 Monday night win over the Giants. The three-time AP Defensive Player of the Year recorded three tackles, including one tackle for loss, and it was his first NFL game since a Jan. 14, 2024 playoff defeat. Ahead of Sunday night’s first road game post-retirement against the Broncos, Donald noted he hasn’t played at that elevation since 2018. He played 57% of defensive snaps. After the game he criticized his pass-rush leverage and pad level, but multiple reviews, including with his older brother, changed his assessment.
