Armada 'this close' to a perfect game and deep tournament run

Armada’s football team is 6-4 overall, but coach Kyle Rowley says the Tigers are still not playing a “perfect game” despite momentum in the postseason. Armada has won three of its last four, including last week’s Division 5 district semifinal win over Flint Powers Catholic, 24-20. The Tigers’ four losses have all come to teams that finished above .500, including Almont, Macomb Lutheran North, Imlay City and Frankenmuth. Senior Brady Petz and Matthew Genereaux both point to the need to limit turnovers and mistakes as they prepare to face third-ranked Frankenmuth.
