Auburn football's Jacob Strand exits game vs LSU with injury

Auburn’s Jacob Strand left Saturday’s game against LSU with an injury at an early stage of a difficult day for the Tigers. Auburn was already trailing LSU by three scores when its fourth player hit the turf, this time starting offensive tackle Strand. The Tigers’ offensive line had already surrendered two sacks and struggled to establish the run versus LSU. Backup offensive lineman Jo Simmons replaced Strand after he tapped his helmet, then walked off under his own power. Strand is the second Auburn offensive lineman hurt against LSU, following Kenneth McManus IV, who returned later.
