Broncos release updated depth chart ahead of Chargers game
The Denver Broncos released an updated “unofficial” depth chart ahead of their Week 5 showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers. The team promoted fullback Adam Prentice from the practice squad to the 53-man roster last week after reaching the limit of practice-squad elevations. To create roster space, the Broncos released wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey, who had been signed to the practice squad on Saturday. The chart lists Bo Nix as QB1 with Jarrett Stidham as the primary backup, and Sam Ehlinger as QB3. J.K. Dobbins leads the backfield with RJ Harvey and Tyler Badie, while Jonah Coleman is on injured reserve for at least two more games. In the secondary, Pat Bryant is expected to miss weeks with an ankle issue, and outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper is on the commissioner’s exempt list due to a felony assault case.
