Broncos roster: DL Jordan Jackson (No. 94) competing for role
Broncos roster decisions around defensive lineman Jordan Jackson are shaping Denver’s depth picture heading into 2026, with the fifth-year player (No. 94) competing for a roster spot. After being selected by the New Orleans Saints in the 2022 NFL Draft in the sixth round (194th overall) out of Colorado’s Air Force Academy, Jackson spent his rookie year on the practice squad. He joined the Broncos prior to 2023 but again stayed on the practice squad before seeing an expanded workload in 2024. Jackson appeared in all 17 games, recording one sack, 17 total tackles (four solo, 13 assisted), and forcing a fumble. His playing time then dropped in 2025 to five games, seven tackles (three solo, four assisted). With John Franklin-Myers leaving in free agency and Jackson placed on a one-year ERFA tender before 2026, Denver expects a challenging competition against Eyioma Uwazurike, Sai’vion Jones, 2026 draftee Tyler Onyedim, and veteran Matt Henningsen.
