Brooks football talented, hungry as season kicks off

Spencer Emerson and Brooks School are finally set to begin the 2026 football season, hosting Roxbury Latin at 1 p.m. on the North Andover campus. Emerson said the team is energized after months of work since he accepted the head coaching job five months earlier, praising how players “came together” during spring and summer. Brooks will be led again by Liam Corman, a senior and former Timberlane Regional running back. He rushed 116 times for 715 yards and 11 touchdowns in eight games last year, earning All-Conference honors. Corman is a captain, alongside Noah Humphrey and John Stokes, with Christian McGrail, Jacob Abelard, CJ Ford, and freshmen Aiden Richard and Braylon Pimentel also expected to contribute.
