Browns offensive line remains uncertain despite all the roster additions

The Cleveland Browns’ offensive line remains in question despite a major overhaul after the 2025 season, when they struggled with instability at tackle and declining play inside. General manager Andrew Berry focused on the unit, replacing much of the group and adding multiple players through free agency and a trade. Cleveland signed guards Elgton Jenkins—who can also play center—and Zion Johnson, and traded for tackle Tytus Howard. Howard brings versatility after being a bright spot for the struggling Houston Texans line, while Jenkins is described as a former two-time Pro Bowler who has experience moving to center. The team also drafted Spencer Fano in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, with Parker Brailsford and Austin Barber adding depth. On paper it’s improved, but the uncertainty persists.
