Bulls Face Celtics Again In NBA Cup After 35-Point Loss

The Chicago Bulls will face the Boston Celtics again on Friday night in NBA Cup group play less than a week after a 134-99 blowout loss on Monday. Boston led by 40 points early and never trailed, moving its record to 3-1 in group action, while the Bulls sit at 1-4 after five games. The most damaging factor Monday was Boston’s bench, which scored 79 points; Payton Pritchard went 7-for-10 from three for 28 and 23 points from Jayson Tatum. Chicago must reduce live-ball turnovers that fueled second-quarter runs, especially with Nic Claxton out (hamstring) and several Bulls defenders questionable.
