Camanche football falls to West Branch

Camanche’s football team fell to 0-3 on Friday evening, losing 41-6 to the visiting West Branch Bears. Junior QB1 Bentley Goldensoph completed 15 of 26 passes for 176 yards and one touchdown. Sophomore Owen Thompson made the scoring catch. Freshman Jaxson Lawrence led Camanche’s receiving with nine catches for 112 yards, accounting for much of the offense despite the deficit. The Storm will play their next game at Northeast on Friday, Sept. 18, seeking their first win of the season after three straight losses.
