College Football teams rising or falling after Week 1, including LSU, Clemson, and more

Week 1 of the college football season left a clear split: LSU and Indiana moved up, while Clemson slid. LSU got a weather-delayed debut for Lane Kiffin and dominated Clemson 51-10. The Tigers piled up 309 rushing yards, and quarterback Sam Leavitt threw for 230 yards and a touchdown while adding 113 yards and two rushing scores. Defensively, LSU forced Clemson to turn to freshman Tait Reynolds earlier than expected. Clemson’s offense struggled with 145 total yards after quarterback decisions didn’t land; Christopher Vizzina threw a pick-six, and Reynolds managed only 22 yards. Indiana also improved, with Josh Hoover going 13-of-16 for 231 yards and four TDs in a 52-16 win.
