Cowboys' George Pickens Trade Talk Takes New Turn

The Cowboys’ struggles are prompting NFL teams to check in on George Pickens’ availability, according to insider Jordan Schultz. Speaking on The Pivot, Schultz said the league’s curiosity has grown because Pickens is playing on the franchise tag and is “not being utilized the same way” as last year, while Dallas sits in a defensive slide. Schultz stopped short of saying Dallas is shopping him, but noted demand makes it “a situation I’m watching.” Pickens’ production has fallen in his second season: 39 catches for 533 yards and two TDs through eight games. Dallas fell to 3-5 after a 33-30 overtime loss to Arizona that included a 14-point fourth-quarter blown lead.
