Day Fiancé' star's father, Hall of Fame coach, dies at 92
Norman “Norm” Niedermeier, a Hall of Fame football coach and father of “90 Day Fiancé” star Kenny Niedermeier, died Oct. 5 at age 92. Over a 40-plus-year career at Ottawa Hills High School in Ohio, he compiled 210 victories, eight league championships and four undefeated seasons, according to an obituary. His record included a 23-game winning streak and earned him induction into the State of Ohio Coaches Hall of Fame. The school renamed its football facility Niedermeier Stadium. Kenny paid tribute on Instagram after services in Toledo, calling his father “the greatest, kindest, most open-hearted” man he’d known. Niedermeier retired in 1997 after also serving as dean of students and athletic director, and he was involved in hobbies including fishing, bowling and stained glass. His passing followed a difficult period for the family, including a July emergency treatment in Phoenix for Kenny’s daughter Hannah.
