Days to Go: FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 celebrates with Tissot countdown clock and exclusive timepiece
The countdown to the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 reached 100 days with a clock installation at Berlin’s Ostbahnhof, marking a milestone ahead of the September event. The installation, unveiled in a ceremony attended by FIBA, Tissot, the German Basketball Federation, and Berlin’s Senate, will be visible to more than 100,000 commuters daily until the tournament begins on September 4, featuring 16 participating nations. Alongside the clock, Tissot introduced the Seastar FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Special Edition, the first dedicated timepiece for a women’s world event. The 40mm white-faced watch with orange accents includes a 24-second bezel and interchangeable straps, with engraving inspired by Berlin’s passion wall on the presentation box.
