Donald Trump Trolls WNBA With Wild Promise To Dennis Rodman And Enes Kanter Freedom [VIDEO]

Donald Trump held a campaign rally in Durant, Oklahoma, on Thursday night that included unexpected references to WNBA eligibility debates involving Dennis Rodman and Enes Kanter Freedom. Rodman attended the event and Trump praised him, highlighting Rodman’s five NBA championships across stints with the Pistons and Bulls and noting his Hall of Fame résumé. Trump then pivoted to Kanter Freedom, saying he would “give them a full pardon” so they could play in women’s sports and “break every record” in women’s sports history. The comments drew laughter and echoed Kanter Freedom’s push for eligibility in the 2027 WNBA draft. The rally also included Trump jokes about the women’s league debate, while the WNBA had not issued a quick ruling.
