Dragon Ball Officially Unveils Our First New Saiyan Since 2018
Dragon Ball Officially Unveils Our First New Saiyan Since 2018 highlights Bandai Namco’s debut of a fresh character in the Xenoverse universe. The publisher officially introduced J-Age, described as the game’s new Saiyan protagonist and the first entirely original lead character since 2018, via a gameplay reveal trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3. J-Age was designed from concepts by Akira Toriyama and appears as a rookie member of the Great Saiyan Squad. The seven-minute showcase follows J-Age through an early mission that culminates in a showdown with Broly, while also teasing returning icons through a new Soul Assist mechanic. Set in the previously unexplored Age 1000 timeline, the story shifts away from repairing history toward an original narrative for this new era. Bandai Namco has not yet revealed the main antagonist. Some community reactions on social media raised concerns about a possible new transformation timer.
