Everything we know about Louisville basketball's 2026-27 schedule

Louisville's 2026-27 men's basketball schedule is taking shape under Pat Kelsey, promising a demanding non-conference slate. The Cardinals will open the season at the Yum! Center on November 2 against Chattanooga Mocs and then host Morehead State on November 7. Louisville's early schedule includes the Players Era Tournament, with Texas Tech on November 24 and Oregon or St. John's on November 26, plus a TBD opponent on November 27. A December 1 game against Texas is part of the ACC/SEC Challenge, and the Cardinals will travel to Kentucky on December 12. The planned neutral-site game with Cincinnati will not happen this year, and the return to Freedom Hall will wait another season. The ACC slate will feature rivalries with SMU and North Carolina; Notre Dame is not on the schedule. Five NCAA Tournament teams from last March are expected to visit Yum! Center during conference play, and the ACC schedule dates will be released later.
