Four-Star '27 DL Kadin Fife Commits to Louisville
Four-Star '27 DL Kadin Fife Commits to Louisville underscores the Cardinals’ continued recruiting momentum despite recent roster churn. The Centre (Ala.) Cherokee County defensive lineman, a Class of 2027 prospect, announced Tuesday he gave a verbal pledge to Louisville. Fife had previously committed to Tennessee before backing off on June 24 and later evaluated schools including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Florida State, Miami, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas and USC. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, he ranks as high as No. 11 in Alabama and 33rd nationally among defensive linemen per On3/Rivals, while 247Sports Composite places him at No. 390 overall. In eight MaxPreps-tracked games as a junior, he totaled 31 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss, six sacks and a forced fumble. Louisville has the 16th commitment in its 2027 class amid six June-to-date commits and four decommitments, including two four-stars.
