Gaming Realms PLC Announces H1 2026 Pre-Close Trading Update
Gaming Realms plc (AIM:GMR) issued a pre-close trading update for the six months ended 30 June 2026, projecting continued momentum in its core content licensing business. The company expects group revenue of about £15.5 million and adjusted EBITDA of £6.6 million, down from £16.0 million revenue and £7.5 million EBITDA in H1 2025. Core business revenue and adjusted EBITDA are still expected to rise 9% and 16% respectively, while non-core brand licensing revenue is expected to fall to £0.7 million from £2.4 million. In the UK, revenue rose 3% even after Remote Gaming Duty increased from 21% to 40% from 1 April 2026. Net cash at period end was £13.5 million after a £6.0 million share buyback, and the firm points to international expansion into Canada, South America, Africa, and Europe, including new markets such as Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Peru.
