Giants hold tryout for former Tennessee lineman after NFL Week 1

The New York Giants, fresh off a 28-20 Week 1 win over the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, held tryouts on Monday for 10 players, according to NFL transactions. The group included defensive end Dominic Bailey from Tennessee, running back Ulysses Bentley from Ole Miss, and linebacker Jack Dingle of Cincinnati. Defensive tackle Jalen Hunt and running backs D’Ernest Johnson (South Florida) and Phil Mafah (Clemson) were also invited, along with other prospects: Haggai Chisom Ndubuisi, T.J. Quinn, Jay Toia, and Blake Watson. Mafah signed with New York’s practice squad after the workout, while the Giants waived wide receiver Dalen Cambre.
