Handsome' Jaxson Dart gets bizarre Donald Trump praise as president makes bold claim

Donald Trump praised New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart during a White House speech on Wednesday, calling him “very handsome” and making a claim about his jersey sales. Trump said Dart is injured and recovering after a season-ending knee injury suffered in the Giants’ 28-6 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The quarterback was reported to have damage to his MCL, PCL and meniscus, while his ACL remained intact. Trump also recalled that Dart supported him at an earlier rally and said the quarterback faced backlash from a more liberal group in the NFL. Trump claimed Dart’s jersey became the No. 1 selling in the league the next day, but the article notes there’s no evidence for that figure and cites only NFL Drop, a satire account.
