Hisense SA Launches Landmark Soweto Soccer Pitch Development with a Bafana Bafana Wish from the Community - Impact SA

Hisense South Africa officially launched a landmark Soweto soccer pitch development, marking the start of a long-term grassroots project to support Bafana Bafana and local youth.

The event took place on June 11, 2026 at the Soweto Towers and will create a safe, purpose-built space for young players to train, play and grow through football, hosting youth cups and community programmes. Hisense has operated in South Africa since 1996 and frames the project under its Hands On The Future campaign with the City of Johannesburg and ward councillors.
