How Are Oklahoma's Players Graded in EA Sports' New College Football Video Game?
EA Sports’ new college football video game, EA College Football 27, is set to launch on July 9, and Oklahoma’s roster is already getting attention through player rating reveals. After the Sooners reached the College Football Playoff for the first time since 2019, their initial ratings in the game appear more favorable than in last year’s version. Developer EA Sports published grades for players who chose to be included. Defensive tackle David Stone leads Oklahoma with a 94 rating, ahead of top competition including Oregon’s A’Mauri Washington (93) and Texas Tech’s A.J. Holmes (92). Wide receiver Isaiah Sategna is rated 90, cornerback Eli Bowen is rated 90, and quarterback John Mateer is rated 89, followed by linebacker Kip Lewis at 89. The ratings come amid expectations and statistical output from the 2025 season.
