Burna Boy also credited Sheeran with preparing him for the scale of performing at the World Cup final, saying Sheeran warned him in advance about the stress. He described Sheeran as thoughtful and professional. “Dai Dai” is credited as a World Cup anthem released for the tournament, with Sheeran listed as a songwriter alongside producer Alexander Castillo. Shakira previously said she waited 20 days for Burna Boy’s verse and called his vocals “the cherry on top.”
