Yoon Su-jin, known online as InoCat or Inonyang, had gained global support after a spectator allegedly made offensive “slant-eye” gestures behind her during the South Korea vs. Czech Republic match in Mexico. The spectator was later identified and dismissed from a professional position. FIFA invited Yoon to attend South Korea vs. Mexico to promote respect and inclusion, and she was reportedly welcomed by local officials and fans. Weeks later, after Argentina’s World Cup final loss to Spain, Yoon posted an Instagram reel titled “How to make the most of a Messi jersey,” showing the shirt used as a doormat and cloth to clean windows and floors. Critics accused her of hypocrisy, prompting the video to be made private and a public apology.
