It's Such a Blessing': Sammy Brown Talks Brother's Commitment to Clemson Tigers
Sammy Brown described the opportunity to play alongside his brother, Max, at Clemson after Max arrives next season, a storyline he discussed at the ACC Kickoff in Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday. The junior linebacker said it would be “such an incredible opportunity” to be reunited, while also stressing that Max should “run your own race” and pursue recruiting on his own terms. Max committed early in the 2027 cycle, choosing Clemson over programs including Georgia, Ohio State, and Tennessee, and became the first commitment for the class beginning in early June 2025. Sammy recalled both brothers making a tackle together against Harris County during the 2023 high school season. While Sammy is a junior entering 2026 and could enter the NFL Draft with a strong year, he said he wants to focus on Clemson’s 2026 season first. He added that Max, not just “Sammy Brown’s little brother,” will impact the game in his own way.
