Jackson State football depth chart vs Tennessee State in 2026 opener

Jackson State released its depth chart for the 2026 season on Aug. 27 ahead of its Week 0 opener at Vanderbilt’s FirstBank Stadium. The Tigers host Tennessee State on Aug. 29 at 7:30 p.m. CT, airing on ESPN+. The program notes the roster includes more than 50 newcomers due to departures from last season, and several are expected to see meaningful reps as starters or backups. Offensively, four starters return: tight end Jency Riley Jr., right tackle Quaveon Davis, and receivers Nate Rembert and Kobe Paul. Defensively, three return: safety Kam Sallis and cornerbacks Khamauri Rogers and KJ Chisholm. The depth chart lists two freshmen starters: Michael Johnson Jr. at the wolf position and kicker Andrew Ivaniciuc.
