Jalen Mosley, Jeremiah Ogbeifun commit to UConn football
UConn's 2027 class grew to 19 with two new pledges. Jalen Moseley, a 6-1, 170-pound cornerback from La Salle Academy (RI), announced his commitment on X after an April 4 unofficial and a June 12 official visit. He held 13 offers from programs including James Madison, Syracuse and Florida Atlantic and is slated to contribute in the Huskies' secondary. Moseley is a multi-sport athlete who ran track, posting a 10.69-second 100m and a 22.11-second 200m in 2026. Jeremiah Ogbeifun, a 6-5, 305-pound offensive lineman from Pickerington Central (OH), announced his commitment on X on Tuesday after nine offers, including Pittsburgh, Iowa State and Miami (OH). Recruited by OL coach John Morookian, he arrives as a one-year football prospect who previously played basketball and track; he will likely play tackle and becomes Connecticut's third OL pledge.
