Jamia Najaf Skardu, Hosts Memorial Conference Honoring Ayatollah Khamenei reports that Jamia Najaf Skardu in Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan region held a memorial conference for Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, marking his funeral and burial. The event gathered religious scholars, academics, researchers, journalists, students, poets, and representatives from various sectors of society. Organizers said it functioned not only as a condolence gathering, but also as a forum to discuss contemporary Islamic thought, the concept of resistance, the future of the Muslim Ummah, global political developments, and the vision for a modern Islamic civilization. The program began with Quran recitation, followed by a tribute performance for the late leader and other martyrs, and was moderated by Mohammad Ashraf Mazhar. Speakers, including Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Sajjad Hussain Mufti and Qasim Naseem, emphasized Khamenei’s themes of monotheism, justice, freedom, and resistance.
