Jed York, Steve Tisch at NFL Owners' Meeting After Scandals
49ers owner Jed York returned to the NFL owners’ meeting Tuesday in New York after his six-game suspension ended. York was at a Manhattan hotel where league leaders and other owners met for a two-day session running from Tuesday afternoon through midday Wednesday, and he did not stop to speak with reporters. His suspension—announced earlier this month—stemmed from an August arrest in Ohio tied to a prostitution-related case, after which he pleaded no contest to two misdemeanors. The NFL said York had stayed away from the 49ers’ first three games and from league meetings during the investigation; his eligibility to return was Oct. 20. Also attending was Giants executive vice president and chairman of the board Steve Tisch, though he has no ownership stake.
