Jessica Shepard, Olivia Miles named 2026 WNBA All-Star starters
Jessica Shepard and Olivia Miles were named 2026 WNBA All-Star starters, returning Notre Dame alumni to the league’s showcase for the first time since 2024. Voting closed June 27, and the results were announced July 2. Minnesota Lynx rookie sensation Olivia Miles finished in the top 10 of All-Star voting and leads the Lynx, which are 15-4, with 18.7 points and 5.7 assists per game, plus 4.8 rebounds. Dallas Wings star Jessica Shepard also finished top 10 and leads Dallas (11-8) with 11.5 rebounds, 14.3 points, and 5.4 assists per game. Miles has set rookie highs, including nine single-game 3-pointers, 24 points, and the fastest player to reach 350 points and 100 assists in 19 games. The All-Star weekend runs July 24-25 in Chicago, with the game Saturday at the United Center, celebrating the WNBA’s 30th season.
