John's Basketball Still Waiting on Keyshawn Hall Decision
xCruzo Brief
St. John’s is weeks away from the 2026-27 men’s college basketball season, but it still doesn’t know whether Keyshawn Hall will be eligible to play. An injunction hearing scheduled at Queens Supreme Court was pushed back another week to Oct. 13, after Hall moved his case and sued the NCAA. He was ruled ineligible based on an earlier Ohio decision, then received a temporary restraining order allowing him to compete in the interim. Hall is seeking eligibility under the new 5-in-5 rules aimed at giving players a potential fifth year. If granted, he would join five programs across five seasons. The Red Storm also await word on Babacar Sane, whose hearing was set for Nov. 9 after Oct. 5.
