Joshua Dobbs records two touchdowns in first half of Lions-Colts game

Joshua Dobbs produced two first-half touchdown passes as the Detroit Lions held a 19-13 halftime lead over the Indianapolis Colts in their final NFL preseason game Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium. Dobbs completed 12 of 14 throws for 110 yards and a 139.0 passer rating at the break. He also had one rushing attempt for zero yards and committed one fumble in the first half. Receiving scores for Detroit came from Tay Martin and Jackson Meeks. Backup quarterback Luke Altmyer also appeared, going 5-for-7 for 48 yards and an interception. Detroit opens the regular season Sept. 13 at home against New Orleans at 1 p.m. EDT (Fox). The 53-man roster deadline is Aug. 30 at 6 p.m. EDT.
