Jude Bellingham: I'd love to play James Bond
Jude Bellingham has said he would love to play James Bond, linking his acting ambition to the “licence to thrill” feeling he experienced after the World Cup. The 23-year-old England midfielder spoke on After Hours with James Corden, describing his desire to move to the United States as a player and to transition into entertainment. Bellingham scored twice in the group stages and is set to start against the Democratic Republic of the Congo on Wednesday in Atlanta. He also said winning this summer’s World Cup, which England can reach by winning their next five matches, would be “beyond iconic, beyond legendary.” Bellingham added that he would eventually like to join Major League Soccer, pointing to David Beckham’s path via LA Galaxy and Miami.
